Our Activities

For physical and social wellbeing

We have a variety of activities to help our residents enjoy their day. These activities are designed to promote independence and to provide stimulation. These may be shared or individually tailored to individual interests or needs.

Our numerous social areas are used for our activities which encourage physical and social wellbeing.

We have health and fitness activities, arts and crafts activities, baking and other food-focussed activities along with creative writing sessions. We frequently invite guests from the surrounding areas including Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Bristol, and beyond which allows us to put on music activities or animal handling activities with visits from puppies, kittens and rabbits!

We celebrate national days and events too. When there are no specific national days to celebrate – we invent our own! Our residents enjoy our Cream Tea days, our Beside-the-Seaside days in the garden and our other in-house creations!

We also regularly have board game sessions which serve to cement friendships within our care home.

With prior arrangement there is also space for family celebrations! Our Chef helps celebrate residents’ birthdays by specially preparing personal birthday cakes.

Many residents like to visit the local shops in Worle and Weston-super-Mare, and residents are encouraged to participate in everyday household activities should they wish to do so.
