About St. George's Nursing HomeOur building, our services, and our location
At St George’s Nursing Home we strive to provide the highest level of care in a comfortable and safe environment.
The home was designed with the happiness and wellbeing of our residents in mind. The home provides accommodation over two floors and is built in a quadrant, surrounding a beautiful central garden. There is a focus on social activities with an emphasis on physical and emotional wellbeing. There is a cinema room, hairdressing salon and nail bar, coffee lounge, reading room, and several other lounge areas.
Accommodation for our residents is furnished to the highest standard and we encourage our residents and their families to make their rooms feel personal and homely.
The driving force during the design phase was to build a home that allowed residents to have the best possible environment which promotes health, wellbeing, independence and safety whilst also creating a home in which the experience for staff, relatives and friends is the best possible.
Our registered manager Julie Bees has been at St George’s Nursing Home since it opened in 2012 and she is supported by an excellent team of caring and experienced staff right across the home. Please see some of the lovely comments from residents, relatives and visitors.
Our experienced care staff take pride in providing our residents with holistic care taking into account everyone’s individuality and diversity. The combination of committed staff and our purpose built “home-from-home” make St. George’s the ideal home for those seeking care for themselves or a loved one.
We can offer couples either paired single rooms or a shared bedroom with an adjacent private lounge. We find this works particularly well when both partners need care or when partners wish to stay together.
We appreciate that finding the right home can be a daunting prospect. We wish to assist you in any way that we can to help make the process as stress free as possible whilst giving you confidence to make the right decision.
