The residents of St. George’s Nursing Home, located in Worle near Weston-super-Mare, enjoyed celebrating Halloween with some arts and crafts activities.

The residents of our care home carved pumpkins, decorated some Halloween cakes, and created some spooktacular posters and paper-plate decorations and masks.

The residents were assisted by some young helpers; the children of some of our staff who were on their half term break. We’re not too sure who had the most fun, but it was definitely a treat for everyone who took part.

Arts and crafts activities are a great way to promote social interaction and to provide mental and creative stimulation. You can read about more of the activities we provide at St. George’s Nursing Home by visiting our activities page.
