We posted, recently, about the charity Alive who provide activity sessions to Nursing Homes and Day Care Centres.
We wanted to share some photos from their visit with us, during which they sang songs and played games with our residents.
The charity uses music, dance, storytelling, objects from the past and touchscreens to spark memories and conversations. They bring joy, laughter and fun to people who may be living with dementia or who have become demotivated, depressed or inactive.
Social, mental and physical wellbeing are areas that we focus on here at St. George’s Nursing Home, and the work that Alive does is phenominal and vital.
